Transparent Aircraft

Featured Replies

Hello guys:Heres another issue I've just noticed: transparent/ghosting aircraft. Is there a fix for that? It seems to have affected all of my aircraft, default and addons alike. I had not noticed this before and there are only a handfull fo my aircraft that do not show this. Any input is always appreciated.

I discovered what was causing my aircraft to "ghost". I found that having the aircraft reflection feature turned on does not work too well with some aircraft. I simply went into the display option and turned it off. Happy new year!

Hi Be sure you have No-refl and Refl model folders within the main AI aircraft folder. I'm not sure but I think I had the same problem with an AI Aardvark, Song 757 which was transparent. It turned out I was missing one of those files in the Aircraft folder, I redownloaded aircraft and all was well.

I have this same issue also and am not satisfied with simply turning off the reflections. The reflections add a bit of realism to the sim and are mandatory on a couple planes I have that are polished aluminum/chrome. Without reflections they are dull gray, with reflections they are "ghosts".Even the default C172 is see-through with reflections turned on and that can't be right.I have an ATI card and am currently trying different drivers in hopes of fixing this.If someone out there has seen this in the past and nows how to fix it, please let us know.thanks
