sorry for asking this question thats probably been asked 100's of times but as a newer user to fs2004 i'm interested in learning how to have airports upgraded from default to include gates, jetways, ground crews and vehicles ect ect. my main airports would be EWR, like i said i'm a newer user but would like to learn what files ect are needed. I have a newer, higher end computer with a high end vid card. I have begun using WOFAI packages and my airports are being populated with new ai so i'm looking for some more airport usefulness and eye candy.thank you all for any helptom

Hey Tom,There are a TON of add-ons you are going to want but to specifically tackle your request you would wantImagineSim KEWRand AES by Oliver Pabst at Aerosoft. Those two will get you the most accurate rendition of KEWR available and all of the add-on gates, ground vehicles etc...From there you are going to want a few more things but that should suffice your basic request...Primary RigLiquid CooledIntel C2D E8500 468X9.5 @ 4.45Asus Maximus Extreme2 gigs OCZ Reaper DDR3 @1400Dual OC'd XFX 8800GTX @ 2 gigs24 inch Widescreen LCD 16XAA/16XAFDual 19 inch LCD'sDual WD Velociraptor 3GB/S 10k Raid-0PCPower and Cooling 1k Quad SLIhttp://home.comcast.net/~psolk/3monitorsa.htmlBackup RigAMD 4000 San Diego @ 2.72 Gigs Kingston Corsair XMS CL2XFX 7900 GTX Raid-0psolk.jpg

outstanding, thank you very much ! I see it can become costly. I do plan on getting some payware for the routes i enjoy flying most and freeware for other upgrades. one other question, are there freeware addon that AES aerosoft will work at or do you need to purchase individual airports from imaginesim, flytampa ect ect. again thank you

I had to ask for a refund from Flight1 for KEWR, and my rig is no slouch. A lot of people have had problems with it -- a lot of people haven't. I highly recommend trying it out because it's a great airport, but make sure you buy it from Flight1, as they have a 30 day full money back refund policy. You also might want to do a forum search here at AVSIM on KEWR -- there are many that discuss this scenery. Here is one of the latest that I was involved in:<< http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...ing_type=search >>
