July 3, 200817 yr Commercial Member Hi,First thing.. read the manual! If you have set up everything correctly - advance the throttles to around 60% N1 (not sure of EPR) Then push TOGA, you should then see THR REF on the PFD.After you have reached around 60 knots it will change to THRUST HOLD so if your using a throttle make sure it's set correctly. Once your airborn and have reached thrust reduction altitude or selected flap 5 the aircraft will switch to whatever climb thrust you selected in your pre flight. Also you dont mention your ZFW or take off weight, v speeds or ambient temp.Rob Rob Prest
July 4, 200817 yr Assuming you've set up everything correctly in the FMC, arm your autothrottle, VNAV and flight director before takeoff. When you reach 400ft after takeoff, hit your Autopilot switch (CMD L) and VNAV will take care of your climb out speeds.
