August 10, 200817 yr I'd very much like to try my hand at flying some of the Russian aircraft available for FS. I'd also like to get some appropriate airports to fly to/from. I'm aware of the list of sceneries at http://walhalla.mine.nu/fs2004.php but many of the Russian airports link to Avsim.ru and the file descriptions are in Russian so I don't know which are the best ones to get. Can anyone recommend some good sceneries for major/interesting Russian airports (and neighbouring countries)? Thanks. Nick
August 10, 200817 yr Hi,Tolmachevo 2008 - NovosibirskAirport BRATSK (UIBB) Airport Berezovo scenery Khomutovo - UHSS (Beta version) Salekhard Airport-USDDI like those (all at Avsim.ru)Cheers.
August 10, 200817 yr The best three freeware Russian sceneries are:- Novosibirsk Tomalchevo 2008- Yekaterinburg Koltsovo- SochiBut there are many more, most at avsim.ru (search for St Petersburg Pulkovo, Vladivostok, Tomsk, etc)The first two are here at the Avsim library.Do a search for:- usss.zip- af2_usss.zip- usss_update.zip- unnt-2008.zipYou can find Sochi at: http://virtualvss.com/index.php?option=com...unc=select&id=1I can also recommend Nizhnevartovsk from:http://www.fs-proteam.com/products.html?op...pw_patt=catalogAs for payware, I definitely recommend Moscow Domodedovo v2 by Dancer Design:http://www.igfly.com/If you use AES, Sochi and Domodedovo are supported.Novosibirsk too, but at the moment only the first version (UNNT 2005, not 2008).Russian sceneries are often freeware but of a payware quality. The same may be said about their aircraft, e.g. Project Tupolev Tu-154B and Tu-154M.Any more quastions? Don't hesitate to ask ;)Best regards,Rafal
August 10, 200817 yr Dancer's UUDD Domodedovo, although payware, is recommended as well.make sure you have the RSBN Scenery data as well (either CIS or USSR)RSBNhttp://www.protu-154.com/files/rsbnforfs9.zipsome know how, must have files, from forum member Ap0pHiS:http://rossiya.123.fr/e-mainanyway have fun, always nice to see someone else interested in Russian aviation.Sander
