November 19, 200817 yr Hi all, i was wondering if anyone can help me, im trying to merge ISDT atr 42 with the Flight1 panel, but everything seems to fail.Does anyone know how to get this done???. PleaseThanks in advance
April 29, 201115 yr Hate to resurrect something this old, but I can't get this merge to work properly either. I know it's possible, having seen edetroit's fantastic youtube vids. I have done several merges in the past, and the usual procedure of copying over the ISDT contact pt/lights section to the Flight1 aircraft.cfg does not work- the aircraft loads in FS just fine, but when I try to use anything in the panel the switches don't move or jump back into place when I try to move them.Just to clarify, I have simply copied the Flight 1 ATR folder in the aircraft folder, deleted the old model, inserted the new model, and redid the contact points and lights. The .air file is unchanged, the panel is unchanged, and the aircraft.cfg is unchanged apart from the above cosmetic fixes. Does the Flight1 panel require the VC in order to function correctly?

And second: do not delete the MDL of the ATR, just change the model.cfg file so that points to the ISDT model. Something similar to what works with RFP: maybe the MDL file works as some kind of validation.Hope this helps.Best regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. May 1, 201115 yr I figured it out. What you have to do is load the sim with the cessna, all avionics/engines off, switch to the real Flight 1 ATR, then switch to the merged ATR and everything works fine. In addition, to anyone doing this merge, it's good to reorder the flaps section of the aircraft.cfg so the one that's marked //pitch is the first one, because otherwise full flaps leads to a full crazy-looking 90 degree extension.
