March 23, 200323 yr Can you tell us a bit more about that throttle and the joystick company who made it?Boyd BarkerSenior Command CaptainKBOS Hub ManagerWestWind Airlineshttp://home.houston.rr.com/checklist/DFexperience.jpghttp://home.houston.rr.com/checklist/checklist.htmlMy DF737 Around the World Adventure: http://home.houston.rr.com/checklist/aroundtheworld.html
March 23, 200323 yr Author Hello Boyd,The throttle and pedals are made by Joystick (a local company), the interface is game port, but I use an USB adaptor made by Leadership, so I connect the throttle to the pedals, and the pedals to the USB adaptor. The throttle is very simple, single with an adapted button in the left for thrust reverse. The throttle material is plastic. It works fine and I think it's better than CH yoke throttle. They just launched a new model, take a look:http://www.joystick.com.br/destaque.htmlthis new model is about US$ 100,00Ulisses
March 24, 200323 yr Ulisses, Beautiful!! Very well done page. Not to mention that setup is AMAZING!!. I do have a question for you. I am very interested in finding out how to go about purchasing a Fresnel lens and setting it up much like you did. Would it be possible for you to let me know where you purchased the lens and perhaps a mini how to onhow to use it to project a monitor image. Again, very nicely done.!!Bobby
March 24, 200323 yr Author Hi,Here is the fresnel link:http://www.maxiaids.com/cgi-bin/miva?Merch...duct_Code=04530The installation is easy, it comes with a stand and you just adjust the height and distance from monitor.ThanksUlisses
