March 29, 200323 yr Hi Ulisses, does that happen everywhere, or just at this particular airport? The reason I ask is, that the clouds are 2D objects and thus don't wrap around 3D polygons properly, and in your picture it looks as if they're blocked by an invisible object. These are present at various locations, so this could be one of them. However, if this happens anywhere, then that's the end of my theory...Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg
March 29, 200323 yr Hi,This happens everywhere, I can see the hard edges drawing line by line and after some minutes the clouds are complete. It like visibility changing from a near plane to a far plane, but I checked FSUIPC and if I turn off the gradual changes, I still get the same problem. It happens with Active Sky...Thanks,Ulisses
March 29, 200323 yr Commercial Member I've had that happen with some versions of nVidia driver. I don't recall which version started the problem, but for a while I was getting a look like that... it looked very much like there were invisible objects blocking the sky display. All I can tell you is that I updated my video drivers (and possibly DirectX version) and the problem went away. It's not much to go on, but maybe it will help your problem.thanks, Bill Womack ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Visit my FS Blog or follow me on Twitter (username: bwomack). March 29, 200323 yr Have you got the 'texture sharpening' option checked in your nvidia display properties? If so, disbale this option, and the clouds should be fine. If this doesn't work, try downloading the new 43.45 drivers, they have just been released on the nvidia website, i have them and they work fine.
