Hi everyoneI have the following system:q6600 o/c @3.44 gig ramnvidia 8800 ultra XXXvista premium 64 bitI have the following add ons, fsx, ASX. active graphic x,FEX ,REX, UT Europe and America,GEX and some airport add ons.I get sharp good view around the plane but short distance away everything is blurry and loading slowly.Could you please tell me if increasing the ram to 8gig will help with textures loading faster and improve the sharpness.many thanks.Qas

As far as I know there is very little, if anything at all, to be gained from 4GB vs 8 GB in just about any current game on the market and this would include FSX.Furthermore, and most importantly in your case, you are pretty much guaranteed to have stability issues with your overclock and 8GB RAM.

I agree, no help at all. A 32bit - Program - (like FSAll-so far) can only use 4Gs under Any circumstances. Vista 64 would only let it get to 4Gs. However IRW, FSX rarely loads above 3Gs and would get OOM'd at ~ 3.5G of physical ram load. That additional 4Gs would Never be used by FS.
