Ai Traffic Folder In Fsx?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where the AI traffic folder is in FSX? I am getting Traffic X soon and want to make sure when I uninstall My Traffic X nothing is left behind. Thanks,Greg
Are you talking about the traffic BGL files? They are in the Scenery\World\scenery folder. As far as the FSX default AI aircraft, they are all in the SimObjects\Airplanes folder and most arejust the flyable aircraft. The MD83 is just AI unless you add a panel. For addon AI aircraft models, you can create a new, separate folder for them if you wish. Also, the traffic BGL files can be placed in any ACTIVATED scenery folder. So if you wanted tokeep everything organized by addon, create a folder for the aircraft models and define itin the "MAIN" section of your fsx.CFG file, then create a new folder with a scenery sub-folderto hold the traffic BGL(s) and just add that folder to the scenery list in the FSX menu. That would allow you to activate/deactivate that traffic without affecting any other traffic. If you are unistalling MyTrafficX, make SURE you read the instructions in the user manual and FOLLOW ALL THE STEPS to uninstall it. If you don't you will leave behind some of it's components, and it could cause problems in FSX.MyTrafficX places all IT'S AI aircraft in it's own separate folders under the MyTaffic folder in FSX. But the "traffic.bgl" files it creates are placed in the FSX scenery folder where the FSX default traffic.bgl files are. That is where the traffic.bgl files need to be that MyTrafficX created.Complete uninstall instructions are included in the MyTrafficX manual. Follow them.FalconAF
