December 23, 200817 yr Hi,I have a question about the 'Force to xx Time' setting.According to the manual:"All weather engine processes depend on the currently active date/time. Please make sure you are aware of your settings here to get the results expected. Normally, Force to Real Time is recommended."Does this imply that the FS time must be equal to the current real time to get the actual weather?I'm a bit confused by this setting. In ActiveSky6.5 I always flew with real time Wx, independent of FS time (correct me if I'm wrong)I would like to be able to fly any time of the FS-day with the current real time Wx. I hope that still is possible. December 23, 200817 yr Force to real time uses the latest available weather snapshot in existence at the time of the weather download. Force to sim time will download the weather from the time of the flight as set in flight sim. So if you create a flight in FS that uses the date 8.8.08 at 8:08 (sorry I thought it was funny) then ASA will download the weather as it was at that date and time in the past. If you used the same date as above in FS but ticked the force to real time option in ASA then you would still have a flight at that time and date but the weather used would be the latest available weather for that area you are flying in i.e. the weather as it is now, not as it was then. Hope that makes sense. Cheers, Andy.
