I have a question about the flight planner for FSX. Can you pick up an IFR clearance while airborne or must you always start at an airport. If you can pick it up airborne, do you just file for airport to airport and just pick it up when you are near the departing airport? Ed

Yes, make or open an existing flight plan from within FSX in flight, but DON'T let it move your plane to the departure airport when it asks.
