I am thinking about getting a new laptop in the future for Flight Sim, and i thought of the Alienware M-17x...... it has 1gb of DDR3 ATI Radeon HD3850's...... how good will my framerates be if i enable CrossFireX...... please list stats for Low settings, Medium Settings, and High settings.....THANK!

I would get a GTX260 or 280 if you can spend the extra cashThe 3850 sucks sorry

im trying to find a laptop under 20 \00 that has a good graphics card in it. I saw the M-17x Alienware for like 1849 with the dual 3850's. and i saw the Gateway P-7801u with 1gb of 9800gts and i saw the HP HDX with 512mb of 9600m GT.......I dont know..... what do u all have?

I personally wouldn't recommend playing FSX on a laptop unless its a very high end one.If absolutely have to get a laptop, get one with a geforce 9xxx series card in it the higher number the better

hows the 9800M GTS on the Gateway P-7801u, check it out on Newegg.com its like 1599.......... or the HP HDX t16 with 512mb of 9600mgt, i still dont know
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...amp;Tpk=P-7801uIs a decent PC. It should handle medium settings in FSX ok, as long as you stay away from large cities.

FSX doesnt support SLI or crosfire so id doubt you will see any improvemnet, from waht i have read some people actually get worse performance when activated.
