Asa Not Updating Weather Any More After First Initialization (fs9)

Featured Replies

For several times now I experience the following problem with ASA (what never happened with ASV6.5):I start ASA und FS, choose a flight and ASA gives me its red info-line telling that the weather generation process is initiated. Weather appears, all good. When I exit FS and restart later (ASA on all the time) no weather will be generated any more! I can refresh or do anything, the weather won`t appear. Althoug, ASA says FS9 is started... Old ASV6.5 always "knew" when my FS was running. Is there a possibility to let ASA check for FS-connection more often? Might this be a connection problem? Perhaps a time synchronization problem?

Hi,had the same problem, updated FSUICP and this problem was solved.Greetsp.s.:first i used 3.75 now 3.85

Thanks. Noted that myself. I'm on FSUIPC 3.81 so I will check out3.85.scott s..

No!I have 3.85, ASA needs 3.75, so 3.81 should work either. With older FSUPICs you would not get any weather at all, I initially get weather the first time ASA in initiated and then somehow the weather generation stops.

OK I installed the latest FSUIPC (3.858) and there is no change. If you Start ASA in FS9 mode, start FS9, exit FS9, and restart FS9, ASA will not refresh weather in FS9, nor does "lock to nearest station" read the aircraft position. Maybe this is the design?scott s..
