2D Views - MD-11 - FS9

Appologies if something like that was already asked and answeredAnyway to have on 2D sideviews on MD-11, like on PMDG 737 (below) and not only VC rendered ?If yes, how to manage that ?Thanks a lot !Johnler Maia

Side views are "VC" renderings. The only 2D displays are the 2D panel and windows you can open for various things like overhead, forward console, etc. Is this a problem for you?

Not at all....i was just wondering...why not a sideview like PMDG 737 ? why not ?

The best reason is because the designers have gotten better and have better tools to work with. The 737NG is practically obsolete compared to 747 and the MD11 is beyond that in capabilities. So, there are sideviews when you have the 2D panel, but they give a sense of depth. Same thing, just a couple of years further along.
