I all of a sudden have this problem when FSX starts up - I get the generating scenery indexing screen - then after that is complete I get the next screen saying "building data base for new scenery files". I know that this is normal to have those two windows come up at the start when you have installed new scenery but this is happening every time it starts up and I have not installed anything for it to do this. Any suggestion as to why this is happening?

I think this can be fixed by deleting your fsx.cfg file and allowing it to rebuild. Back it up first, just in case you lose a setting or something.
