Auto pilot Disc Warning

Recommended Posts

Hi there,Firstly thanks for a fantastic aircraft, I am really enjoying it, I love the challenge of learning a whole new logic to systems, its all great fun!I have run into an issue that may just be me not following the correct procedure, however, on disconecting the AP on finals I get the audio alert, however it continues unabated until touch down, is there a cancel button, I do cancel the master caution however this has no effect, am I missing something?Any help would be appreciated, I have the latest updated version for FS9.Many thanks,Anthony Milner

You have to hit the "Z" key or whatever you have in FS as the AP switch. Hit it once it disconnects with the alarm, hit it a 2nd time and it shuts off.RegardsRichie Walsh

Hi Richie,Thanks for that, is there nothing in the VC that will cancel it?What would the real world aircraft do, what I mean by this is, is it a continuous alert until otherwise canceled? One could argue that the continous allert can be quite a distraction at a busy stage of the flight...of course one could also argue that a single chime or alert could easily be missed by the crew...Anthony

Stefan is correct. Little button right next to left thumb if you have VC hands.
