I just purchased the MD11 for FSX.When I click on the installer I receive the following message:Unable to find a volume for file extraction.Please verify that you have proper permission.I am running this as administrator as I do with all my stuff. - Vista 64bit systemAny ideas or help?ThanksEdit, this is for the VS2008 redistributable file.

I have tried to turn off the firewall and still have problems. I have also removed the installer from the zip to the desktop and it does not help.

Just a guess here, the MS redistributals may use a temp folder during installation. Also, try turning off UAC to inhibit blocking file access (use Vista help to find how to do this). Hope it helps.
