January 19, 200917 yr I cannot remember this exactly, but I thought there was an edit/entry you can make in the fs9.cfg fie to make the autothrottle more responsive? Or maybe it's in the .cfg file of the aircraft itself? Appreciate any pointers, thanks!JS Jonathan Sacks Dell XPS Gen 4, Pentium IV Northwood extreme 3.8Ghz, 3Ghz RAM, eVGA 7900 GTO, 12 GoFlight modules plus MCP-PRO AP and EFIS, GF pedestal, CH rudder pedals, CH throttle quadrant, 42" LG LED, 24" DELL LCD, Windows XP, FS2004, FSUIPC 3.96 FS Autostart 1.1 (Build 11), FS Navigator 4.6, UT, FE, GE, REX, PMDG, Level-D, PSS, etc.
January 20, 200917 yr In the autopilot section of aircraft.cfg you can add for example max_throttle_rate=0.10. In the this example the rate of throttle movement is set to 10% of the total throttle range per second. If too high you may get jitter. Now if you are talking about the SPEED window sensitivity skipping too many IAS values per click that is a different issue. If you require a more accurate increment the only way I'm familiar with is to use a paid registration of FSUIPC which has a "control acceleration fix" in its features.
