Airport Alignment in FSX

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone - just wanted to see if there was a relatively simple way to align airports with Tileproxy photoscenery? The location of the airports are almost always fine, but the alignment is often off, resulting in a great looking image overlayed with an airport/runway that is angled off the underlying scenery. Any help and tips would be appreciated! Also, I have had a couple of airports' elevations wrong... any way to correct that as well?

In a word, no. However, you can download ADE, an AFCAD-like tool for editing airports and have a go at it. Most of the bigger airports' runways are pretty good, but the smaller airstrips are spotty. Fortunately these are also much easier to mod.scott s..
