New Card for my I7 system

If there is a desing flaw in this motherboard, why does mine work perfectly?

I have talked to a person that had three of the original Rampage Extreme motherboards all having the same problem after a varying period of time, .If it works perfectly, consider yourself lucky. My employer's demo machine even has a similar problem and it too has an ASUS board.
