Hi Geofa,I was away from FSX for a while, but I am comming back since I got a new PC. So I am still catching up on what I missed in the last year. Could you point me out the direction of that mission maker? And you can make sure I will monitor you new missions in the library! ;)Thanks again!

Hi Geof,Thanks for the great mission, I flew it last night and agree with al of the great comments here. Just so I understand- you made all this with the F1 mission creator?I did a class several years ago here at CU in Boulder on geology. The professor came from the OR area and we did a case study on the Cascades, so when I listened to your comments it all came back very vividly. While we were living in the Bay Area my wife and I eloped and got married in Tahoe. Just for fun we drove home via the Feather River canyon, awesome sceney, so I can't wait till you make that mssion! I had seen some old train movies when the UP pax trains used to go that way for some reason, and the scenery is certainly spectacular. Thanks for the great contribution to FSX!Bruce.

Hi Bruce-Yes made very easily with F1 mission creator. I didn't even have to read the directions-easy like a word processor! One of my favorite parts of the world-I go out there frequently. I also around that time did two scenic flights from Quincy (an interesting airport as a small mountain sits in the downwind) down to Tahoe , over the desolation wilderness, the Sierra Buttes and up the Feather river canyon.Perhaps I'll do one like that-my instructor at the time had recently done some movie stunt work. He asked if I wanted to try his stunt over the Buttes-it was quite interesting. Not sure I could duplicate that in the mission though.Glad you enjoyed it!

I bet you do-even the Buttes. I'd need some scenery though (cough, cough). :(
