280 over 285

I'm about to fire away with my new PC order but before that I want to ask a question that'll save me $15. Is there going to be any performance gain between the 280 and 285? I'm hearing from my PC maker guy it's 10-15% but FSX is a funny animal as we all know. The 10,000lb Gorilla as Nick says.

Eh, to hell with it. :) I'll just get the 285 with the numbers of 280's for sale on newegg there's no reason not too. :)

I think you made the correct choice. I doubt all you will play is FSX.Check out CoD:W@W, CoD4 and FEAR2.

The GTX 285 is an amazing card. There's not a game on the market (including Crysis) that won't run @ 1080P w/details maxed out and 4x AA on my system. FSX is another story though, as we all know it to be largely CPU-bound.
