Airstairs on any 737 Model

Featured Replies

Just a quick question... is it possible to let all the 737 models use airstairs, rather than just a few? Could I edit the aircraft.cfg and change the model name, or something like that? Would be nice to be able to have airstars on any of the 737s for when ATC send you to a parking spot without an airbridge! :( Cheers

Yes, you can use the airstairs on any 737 you wish. All you have to do is point the "model=" entry in the aircraft.cfg file to the airstairs model you want. For instance, I use them for all of my Southwest Airlines livery variations, both with winglets and without - For the winglets models - 2d cockpit only - model=WLAS VC cockpit - model=WLASVC VC cockpit & cabin - model=WLASVCCABNo winglets models - 2d cockpit only - model=ASVC cockpit - model=ASVCVC cockpit & cabin - model=ASVCCABEnjoy!

Hi,I suppose the question was about airstairs on the -700 versions only. This won't work on the other dashes (600/800/900) as they use different .mdl files, right? (And that's too bad since I wouldn't mind airstairs on my personal - and completely fictive - BBJ 600 !)Bruno
