Just bumping. I guess no one yet has experienced this weird issue.

You probably accidentally saved it while viewing from outside. Open it up again, change your view to the one you prefer, then re-save it.FSX will remember which view you had dialed in when you are saving a free flight and then present that view to you again when you reload that flight.

Nope, saved inside the cockpit and it opens in outside view. Really strange, and I cannot solve it.Bob

Hi again Bob, You've likely saved your default flight with an outside view, thus all flights will open that way. Re-save your flight and make it the default and all should be ok.
