March 10, 200917 yr I have a CDU2 Menu Request message as im enroute JFK now. I have searched the manual and have got no where. What does this mean?Also I had a DFDR off message a bit ago but cant seem to find it now. March 10, 200917 yr DFDR is just your Digital Flight Recorder. I seems to start collecting data sometime during flight prep, before taxi.Never seen a CDU2 message though. Are you using two FMS computers or just one? I only use the one, so I've not seen any messages.Yeah, I see it in the search too. March 10, 200917 yr Most messages will appear in the scratchpad of both FMC's. Clearing one will also vlear the other.
March 11, 200917 yr Author The MSG's arent causing the CDU2 message. What causes them is that one of the FMC's are still on its INIT page. Just click FMC and it clears up. Kind Regards, Shawn Fitts
