Hello,I hope it is ok to ask this here. If I use Vista 64, will this increase the amount of AI Aircraft, scenery etc. that I can have loaded in FS9 and not run into the 32 bit wall, which I was running into? My son builds gaming computers , but does not know the in's and outs of what FS9 and X can use. Will this run FS X like running FS9 with addon aircraft, scenery, mesh, PFE, AI, etc? Hi, Lynn, and everyone.There is a Hardware forum where you can get much better help, but I will give you my opinion on what we have so far.The most important items for FS9-X is the CPU, Memory, Video, HD combo.In your case, if I were to build one, I would get a PS around 700W, a CPU at least a 940 with as fast a Clock rate that I can afford, with a good Heat sink, and be able to Over clock, and just 1 Video, better, card if mostly Games, and a Mobo that is around $150.00 with good Over clock features. Take the money you save from PS / Video / Mobo and in invest them in a better CPU / Video / HD. With the money that you are planning to spend you should be able to get a System that runs FS9 Full out, and FSX at about 90%. TV
