  1. Where can I get "AI Traffic V3 Global"? I did a search on google and got: global ai traffic.rar AI TRAFFIC V3 mod By Gu!!! rar global ai traffic v3 02.full.rar Are these what you are talking about?
  2. What is uiautomationcore.dll and what is uiautomationcore.dll fix Please? Lynn
  3. I have the Trackir Pro ser #XXXXX. Win 7x64 OS. I use FSX exclusively. I have Ver 4.1 build 28 installed. It worked great, but now I need to uncheck the true view box and I cannot get to the setup screen. I am happy with my profile, but to use with EZdok I have to make some changes. I am afraid of screwing something up by going to the updated version. How do I install the newest version TrackIR_4.2.0.39? Will I have to redo my profile? Do I have to uninstall it from the control panel uninstall/change page before I install the new version? I have searched the forum but was not able to find the answer to my question. I have read the manuel numerous times. Thank you for your help. Lynn
  4. The Proflight does not have holes in it. You would not be able to bolt it to the desktop.
  5. Installing the drivers worked to get the clock working. hightower I think it is likely, You are pushing and pulling on it and not lifting. You've got a 9 inch by 9 inch flat surface to put the velcro on. You are not exerting that much force to move the yoke in and out, twisting the yoke left and right. Lynn
  6. Thanks for the heip. I really wanted to avoid their software. I had the X52 and used their software. I had plenty of trouble with it. I think when I was in either in their forum or hear on this one that other people were successful with just letting the OS install the drivers. Since I have FSUIPC registered I was hoping that someone might have a way to make it work. Thanks, Lynn
  7. I just bought the Profight yoke system. I am running Win7 x64, I72700k, computer. Everything works great, assigned axis, buttons, etc with FSUIPC.. I push function on the yoke and it changes from the clock to the stop watch. I hit start, stop, reset, all works. It just will not display anything but zero's for the clock. How do I get the clock to work? I did not load Saitek drivers, I plugged in the yoke to my computer, the quadrant, and combat rudders to the yoke and Win 7 installed the drivers. Thank you. Lynn
  8. I am going to update my hardware to a yoke, throttle, and pedals from my G940. I fly PMDG and some GA aircraft. I am going to buy the Saitek. Is there a reason to spend more money to get the Cessna Yoke, Throttle, and Combat pedals vs the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke with Three-Lever Throttle (PZ44) for $124.00 and the regular Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals for $98.00 or combination of Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and Combat pedals. I want a good system to fly with. I can afford the more expensive setup, but will it really work any better then the cheaper. Also I wonder about the setup of the Cessna vs the Proflight yoke buttons when setting up FSUIPC assignments with the PMDG 737, since their is a difference between them. I intend to put the Pitch Trim, Autopilot switch disconnect, Autothrottle disconnect, on the Yoke. I know their is a difference with the 45 deg vs 90 deg yoke rotation. Any opinions are welcome. Lynn
  9. Please excuse my placement of this topic. I think it will more response here than the hardware forum. I am going to update my hardware to a yoke, throttle, and pedals from my G940. 10. You can add a monitor to your computer which will add a screen that will hold about 10 or 12 previous messages listed at one time. When the messages become more than can be held on the screen it will scroll the oldest message off and add the latest to the list. I also move my Taxi gauge to this screen which makes everything easier to keep track of. I really like this. This is not a networked computer monitor, you add the monitor to your FSX computer. I do not network PFE. It works great. I use one of my older monitors that I had and was no longer using. It tells how to do this in the manuel. I do network 2 other computers for REX, Plan G, and actually the Remote Radio PFE application, and PFE Display.exe. I also keep a pad at my computer that is preconfigured to the information that I know I am going to get so that is quick to record the information in the form. I am sure that in the real plane they get the info fast and have a system of recording it while flying. Lynn
  11. By far the best voice activation program is Voice Activated Commands (VAC) http://www.dwvac.com/ . I struggled with Voice Buddy for years. It can be made to work most of the time and I made FSX voice commands for much of the ATC and aircraft flying activities, ex. flaps up/down, reverse thrust, gear up/down, etc.. VAC is much easier and more reliable. I have made a very inclusive list of custom commands for FSX, for GA, PMDG 747400, PMDG NGX, Change Nav and Com Radio Frequencies, Proflight ATC, etc. Excel speadsheet is 22 pages printed landscape. Lynn
  12. If it's not broke don't fix it. It gets me in trouble nearly every time. I have spent more time fixing something that wasn't broke before I tried to get the phantom, hoped for, maybe improvement. Lynn
  13. The default drive for flightplans in FSX is C, Username, Documents, Flight Simulator X files. I can go into the Flight Planner, Load Flight Plan and change to the drive and file location that I want which is H: Flight Simulator X Flight plans and access the flight plans in the folder. I want it to default to this drive, and folder. How do I get this to happen. I also want the files that I save to default to this same folder instead of the C: Username, Documents, Flight Simulator X file. Thank you for any help offered. Lynn
  14. I have searched the the forums, PMDG Simulation Site, Flightsim, Googled, and have found only an Easyjet livery for the 700. Does anyone know of an Easyjet livery being worked on for the 800? Thank you, Lynn
  15. Thank you for your replies. I did not know that the freeway ran under the runways. Jim, I did not think that their was anything wrong with Ray Smiths KMEM airport, since it occured in the default airport. His afcad is really great and the traffic is exactly as the default. I thought that I had an errant file somewhere that was causing the problem. I guess it turns out that I did, only not what I expected. I did not realize that UTX would put traffic in airports over afcads. Is their a way, other than disabling UTX, to fix the traffic problem I see? Thank you, Lynn
  16. This is a new install on a new rebuild. I have traffic and highways running through KMEM default airport. This is a screenshot of the default KMEM airport. I have GEX AFME, GEX ATP, GEX Europe, GEX North America, UTX Canada, UTX Europe, UTX USA, UTX Europe, Scenery Tech North America, South America, Europe, FSG mesh, FSDT JFK, O’Hare, Zurich, Blue Print Indianapolis, Fly Tampa TNCM installed. I had installed the by Ray Smith FSX_kmem_ade_rs dated 2009-12-17. I don’t remember if it had the traffic in it or not. Just recently Mr. Smith has updated his KMEM afcad. In the instructions it says to Install “If you are using my earlier version please remove/delete this files first or overwrite them.” I over wrote them. I put the KMEM_ADE_CW_RS.BGL and the KMEM_ADE_CVX.BGL in the Addon Scenery/KMEM –Memphis Tennessee Smith/scenery file. Then as instructed I put the KMEM_OBJ.BGL file into FSX/Scenery/Global/scenery file. I went to settings, scenery library and activated the scenery. I got the traffic as is seen in the screenshot in his afcad. So I removed the scenery from the scenery library, removed the file from the addon scenery, removed the obj.bgl from global scenery, shut down fsx and rebooted the computer. Reran FSX which is the default and same traffic. I looked at all the files in the scenery/global/scenery folder. Only fsx initial install bgl’s, I checked the addon scenery/scenery folder and again only the initial fsx install files. How do I find the problem? Thank you for any help you can give. Sincerely Lynn
  17. I have done a search of the forums, but was unsuccessfuI at finding an answer. I go to setting, controls, buttons/keys and their is not a listing "DME Ident (on/off) I must have deleted it somehow. In the standard.xml file is the following: <Entry> <Key>CTRL+4</Key> <Down>RADIO_DME1_IDENT_TOGGLE</Down> </Entry> which is correct, but when I press CTRL+4 keys it does not turn on the DME Ident on the default Barron 58. It I go to FSUIPC and assign the keys to Radio DME 1 Ident Toggle. That works fine. I think that if I could put the line back in the file that displays the buttons/keys events it would work from the setting within FSX. I have customized my setting in the buttons/keys and am not going to reset the default. I know how to make it work from the FSUIPC, but would like to restore the line in the buttons/keys. Thanks for any help that is offered. Lynn
  18. Would you post your LUA again? My FSX computer crashed and I loved using your LUA to change my FSX radios. It is no longer available to download from this post. I thought I had it saved, but I cannot find it. I would very much appreciate if you would post it again. Thanks,Lynn Fisher
  19. Thanks guys. When I bought my old system I didn't know about the problem with Raid 0 as an FSX drive and frankly it worked pretty good. My 256 SSD is my new FSX drive. I would like to keep all the files that I have on the former FSX drive + use it for big database programs used with FSX. I'll have to see how hard it is to save the files off the raid 0 and take the 2 500 gb disks apart and use them separately. You gave me somethings to think aboutThanks,Lynn Fisher
  20. I have 2 - 500 gb hard drives on my previous FSX machine in a striped raid configuration. I want to move it to my new build machine and save the data on the drives. I am using a AMCC 3ware 9650SE SATA Raid Controller for these 2 drives to give me 1tb.The question is do I need to move the AMCC 3ware SATA Raid Controller with the drives to the new computer to maintain the integrity of the data on these drives or should I use the P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 MOB on board raid controller? My new computer specs are: ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 MOB, EVGA GTX 580, Antec High Current Pro 850w, Intel I-7 2700k, operating system drive Crucial M4 SSD 128gb, FSX drive Crucial M4 SSD 256gb, Win7 Professional 64. I plan to use this as the only hard drive on the computer, with programs that are large databases, but do not require fast access during rendering like PFE, GEX, etc. so as to keep my SSD drives from becoming filled with unnecessary files for fast FSX.Thanks,Lynn Fisher
  21. I think that the very 1st add on I would get is TrackerIR. There are some free adaptions of this, but I don't know how they work.Lynn
  22. Thank you all for your information. That eases my mind. Particularly the FS Dream Team. I have a number of their programs and I certainly would not want to repurchase them. I am not looking forward to this from a reinstall (expect weeks to get it all installed again), but I sure do look forward to my new dedicated I7-2700, SSD OS, and SSD FSX drive computer. Thanks,Lynn
  23. I am moving from one computer to a new build computer. Can I uninstall FSX with out first uninstalling GEX, UT2, UTX, REX,etal.? I know that I can have the programs on only 1 computer at a time, but I do not want to uninstall the addons until I have installed FSX onto the new computer. I also know that once I uninstall FSX from the original computer I will have to uninstall each addon prior to installing on the new build. I am just extremely anxious over this whole process and I want to do one thing at a time. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Lynn
