But IMO there is a HUGE difference that can explain your micro pauses: Vista x64.If you have some spare time and the x64 disk, take the 50 bucks you already owe me (...), add a few $ and make yourself a favor, buy a new hard drive.Install Vista 64 on dual boot, install FSX and you will be really surpized.
Er... you mean I should install Vista 64 on a seperate hard drive? I already did this. I have 2 seperate hard drives: one for the system and one for (amonst others) FSX. Or do you mean I should install Vista AND FSX apart from everything else on a seperate (dual boot) drive...?

So that's OK. I meant installing Vista 64 on one HD and FSX on another physical HD (not partinioned)Dual boot is if you want to keep both Vista 32 and 64 but IMO there is no real need for that.Use Alacrity PC to shut down all unused services and programs
