This may have already been asked but when I get weather AS gives VIS at 10sm. RC gives it maybe 50sm. Is there anyway to get AS and RC ATIS together so they can read the same weather?ThanksEddie

Hi Eddie,RC shouldn't be saying 50sm at all for the ATIS. The phrase would be "...greater than 10 kms" or similiar. In the Metar that AS gives, 10sm actually means visibility is no less than 10sm (sometimes writen as 9999, for not less than 9999m, ie 10kms). Likewise, RC would be reporting visibility greater than 10, which is also what AS is saying. In other words, AS is saying "not less than 10" and RC is saying "greater than 10". They both mean the same thing :o)Subs
