The first click turns the autopilot off, the second cancels the annunciation.

Unless you can find the wav file and edit it, there's no way. That's how the MD11 is built.Paul

Paul, I think he's referring to the aural disengage warning. That's the only thing I can think of to do with the autopilot that's annoying enough to want to get rid of, and persistent enough to be annoying (if you don't know how to cancel it).

Press the 'Z' key. Once to disengage, once more to cancel the aural warning.Patrick
