I have the latest MakeRwys.EXE Version 4.697, by Pete Dowson. If the file is corrupted then how do I fix the problem? The information you gave me did not totally make sense in terms of what I need to do next if I have the latest MakeRwys.exe file. Should not this file have all of the runways for each airport? Thanks for your help. I achieved partial success. As an example KSEA and KTPA have all of the correct runways which previously they did not. However KCLT does not have the 18/36C runways. PAFA did not update at all but shows 2L in the gate box when you open the controller info dialog box. This is the correct runway but the info is in the wrong location. Any ideas? Thanks Don

I have just ran the latest makerwys.exe from Peter Dowsons website. I put the file in the main FSX directory but the r4.csv file in RC4.3 did not update but the r5.csv in the FSX folder did update. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem so that I have the correct runway listing in RC4.3? Thanks Don

Hello: I am trying to understand this error and how to fix the problem. The NGX has been working perfectly until yesterday. I loaded a saved flight from KIAH - KMSY and received the error message "Arrival runway in .rte file not in database". Other flights work just fine as this only occurs on random flights. My screens also are blank but the engines are running. I do not use .rte files and have not installed any new Navigraph products. All of my flight plans are .pln files so this does not make sense to me. Thanks Don

Hello: When I try to load weather files with a .wx extension I get an error message stating unknown format or corrupt data. In my instance it does not matter what weather mode I am in. How can this problem be solved? Thanks Don

Hello: If I could add in another question about the weather radar. Can the FO have the WX radar selected and the Captain have the Terrain button selected. I know they cannot be selected on the same side at the same time. Just curious. Also since the new release came out when Terrain is selected and no WX radar there is a moving cursor. Hello; I have been using RC4 for many years and have a strange problem. FYI I am on a new computer. RC4 installed and after entering the key I got the MSSTFMT.DLL error. I resolved that and was able to load RC4. After that problem was solved no runtime errors. When I went to press the key to get my clearance there is no audio. There is also no audio under the RC4 voices tab to set up the different controllers. My computer will give audio on everything else whether in or out of FSX such as playing music or whatever. RC4 will do the text display for the clearance. I have "pilot reply" checked. I am running 4.939n FSUIPC thinking that may be the issue. I have tried using the FSX Default sound and voice device as well as the speakers I have connected to my sound card (SB Recon 3Di). FSX also offers that as a choice. Either way there is no sound. My computer shows "NVIDIA High Definition Audio" and "SB Recond3Di" under Device Manager. Not sure what this means in terms of a possible issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Don

After installing the file I cannot find any version info to see if it is Version 1.10.6436. I also started ASN with SP2 beta and loaded the flight plan. Is the WX radar in the 737 supposed to work? I could not see any echoes as I maxed the range at 320 miles and I should have seen some echoes as KTYS - KMEM had enroute weather. What next? Thanks Don

I have the NVIDIA 340.52 driver loaded using Dual Head 2 go from Matrox. I am curious if Horizontal span has been brought back like it was in XP? I tried to read the NVIDIA driver docs to find out but it was somewhat confusing. If someone can answer this question I would be grateful. Thanks Don

Do you use REX weather? REX can change the lights. I think the file REX changes is spotlight.bmp. Just food for thought. Not sure this will fix your problem. Don

Thanks for the info. It looks like you have built a system similar to what I want to build. I have read many Newegg reviews and never sure of what to make of them based on the users skill level. DId you find anything frustrating about the Z87 motherboard? If I understood your post correctly concerning the Noctra CPU cooler it did not cause any clearance issues when installing the memory? On some motherboards the slots next to the CPU are the overclock slots which is where I would want to put my memory sticks. Do you find the Noctra CPU cooler to be quiet? What memory did you install? I ran the MakeRwys.exe V 4.674 with Admin rights after placing it in my C:\FSX folder. The new r4 and r5.csv files were created with new date time stamps. Hello: I am looking into building a new system for FSX spending about $1500(US). I am leaning towards the i4770k with a GTX 770 as I just do not have the funds for a 780. How does FSX perform with a 2g or 4g GTX 770? Can some of you post your system builds for me? Specifically the motherboard type, memory, CPU cooler type (air) and if there were any issues with the memory sticks and the height of the CPU cooler. On my current system this was a problem. I have heard that the $200 range for ASUS motherboards is good as they are overall better quality and they have better customer service. My goal is to receive enough information to duplicate somewhat a system that is already up and running. I am also trying to avoid any pitfalls by looking at successfully built systems. I like the Coolermaster HAF 932 case because of the 700mm large quiet fans and it is a server case with excellent airflow. This is the case I am currently using but I am always open. I have never used an SSD drive but I may get one.Does FSX work better with an SSD? What are some good hard drives to use? I have WIN 7 64bit SP1 and primarily fly the 737NGX, My add-ons are ORBX, REX, RC4, and LiveATC from Cielosim. I do not plan at this time to overclock. I have read about the heat issues with Overclocking the i4770k. Thank you in advance as I know I am asking for a lot of data. Don

We in this group are not dumb and citing the EULA is not how to answer the question. Maybe Ryan could weigh in on the terrain mapping issue in the MD11 as to why it was not done or could it be done? I agree and this is even true of the MD11 which I still enjoy flying from time to time. I wish the PMDG MD11 had terrain mapping. Don
