May 9, 200323 yr HiThere is something going on with searching for files on XP. I searched everywhere on the drive for files stamped for today that are of jpeg or bmp and nothing shows up. Can someone tell me where they FS2002 snapshots get stored? I even created a notepad file and then searched for it and it didnt show up. I had shut of indexing for a while and wonder if something got hosed. Thanks for your helpBob G
May 9, 200323 yr not sure what you mean by snapshots, are you using some kind of screenshot utility?? If so it will tell you the path in the preferences for that utility. By default in XP, I believe, it goes to your documents > my pictures.BTW Congrats on the MAAM purchase, it is a work of art!Regards, Michaelhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com Best, Michael KDFW
May 9, 200323 yr if you mean screanshots that you take using PrintScreen Key then they do not get made you have to actually paste after to some paint program and save it as *.jpg or *.bmpI am not sure if this is what you are asking about...? I gueass it isor there are few small little nice programs that when run in the background they will save your shot automatically for you in their own folder no need to use paste option just snap is made and saved everytime you press printscreen key.Not sure what the name of the program is but sure is here on avsim look for something like screen shot etc.Andy
May 9, 200323 yr If you mean taking snapshots by hitting the printscreen key, they are stored in the copy buffer. You need to open up a separate image editor (paintbrush will do) to paste the screen print. If you've installed a separate utility, you'll have to read the documentation for it. But I suspect from the nature of your question, you're using the printscreen method, as FS2002 has no built in snapshot feature.-JohnEdit: No sooner did I post this, than I saw Andy beat me to it...
May 9, 200323 yr I knew that. Well just turned 51 I guess I will have to get rid of it.It is the on set of CRS disease. Cant Remember S*** hahaThanks you guys. I probably still have one in the buffer.Bob G
