April 21, 200917 yr Strange issue: When I cross the Pacific (east or westbound), FS9 pauses briefly every couple of hours with that "Loading Scenery" dialog box. Not a big deal because the pause only lasts a millisecond, except for the fact that it sets my clock back an hour every time it does it. By the time I arrive at destination, my FS clock will read 5-6 hours ahead of what it should be depending on how many times the loading scenery dialogue box popped up. So, for example, if I am supposed to depart RJAA at 0900Z and arrive KSFO at 1800Z and the dialogue box were to pop up 6 times to load scenery over the Pacific, my clock will read 1200Z on landing, even though my elapsed flight time is actually 9 hours. I don't have the same problem anywhere else on the FS9 planet except over the Pacific Ocean.Weird.Anyone have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?
April 21, 200917 yr Forgive me as it's been YEARS since I installed Dennis Thompson's Timezone files. I don't even remember why or how but I vaguely recall these files are a must have in clearing up fs9 timezone/scenery refresh issues. Just search for his name in the fs2004 section and you'll see the files and updates Regards, Mark
