I just used Shamrock as an example so everybody understood which label I meant.Regards Andy

Any editing of the FS9.cfg file must be done with FS2004 NOT running or the chnages will not be saved.Hope that helps.

Please could you tell me which directory I can find it in?Many thanks once again.Regards Andy
May 4, 200917 yr David,Once again thanks for taking the trouble to respond once again.I am feeling slightly stupid, but I have searched high and low for the FS9.cfg file without success. Please could you tell me which directory I can find it in?Many thanks once again.Regards AndyNo problem - your question is probably the most asked. The FS9.cfg file is "hidden" by default. If you are using the windows search function to try to find it, you must invoke the "search hidden files and folders" option.Better yet, use My Computer, then select Tools from the menu at the top, then Folder Options, then View. Scroll down a little bit to the entry which says "Hidden files and folders" and place a tick mark in the box which says "Show hidden files and folders".While you are there, be sure the is NO tick mark on the next line which says "Hide extensions for known file types".Now you should be able to navigate to the location of your FS9.cfg file which, assuming a default installation will be:C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9Note - Any cfg file can be opened and edited using Notepad. After you find the FS9.cfg file you can Right click on it and select "properties" and remove the "hidden" attribute. Many of us also make a shortcut to the FS9.cfg file and place it on our Desktop.Hope this helps.
