May 27, 200917 yr Now that MS released Service Pack 2 for Vista, I'd like to know how was your experience with it.---------------------I'll start by telling mine:I felt the install was faster than the one for SP1, despite it's larger size (Windows Update said 65MB for SP1, 350 MB for SP2). After having some problems with FS2004 and Vista SP1, as you may see here, I rebooted and started FS2004 in order to check if I had to reinstall everything again. No, I didn't have to do so. Instead, FS2004 loaded as usual, loaded a flight.... Now, why do I feel a smoother sim with SP2?Sorry but I don't have numbers to back up this feeling. Well, I have my frame rate capped at 30 FPS, the FPS counter didn't move away from 29.8 with my current setup at these airports: KSEA and KJFK (default), TNCM (FlyTampa), SKBO and SKPE (Virtualcol... Pereira had a strange FPS drop in the passenger terminal, a problem I don't see anymore). I didn't try Kai Tak because I don't fly there often. As I said before, this is a subjective perception of things, I didn't run any benchmarks, your mileage may vary. What was your experience with SP2?Best regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. May 27, 200917 yr I downloaded it and installed it with no issues at all. Don't note any particular differences yet...and don't really expect to either.

In fact, one of my addons (Aeroplane Heaven Tiger Moth) used to crash a lot whenever I used a popup panel. But after this update it seems to work without any issues. Strange, but good nonetheless.
