I have a computer set up in a SATA configuration using an nVidia stripe and wanted to add a hard drive from another computer that is due to be retired, this will save me considerable time and effort in having to transfer data over to the existing SATA HD. I was hoping to add it and have the HD recognized, having done it in the past on another computer it was as simple as plgging in the data ribbon and power and it was recognized by XP as a new drive After rebooting I checked in "My Computer" and the drive I added was not visable. Anyone have any suggestions?Thanks,Rob

Make sure the drive if formatted for NTFS, and has a partition set.Right click on My Computer -> Manage -> Disk Management.Also check the drive is set to 'Active' as well.
