Lockheed 049A Constellation in FSX

Featured Replies

I have installed the excellent Lockheed 049A Constellation form FSDZ in FSX. This model, of course was made for FS9. I was hoping that it would work in FSX. Technically, it does work. It flies beautiful and everything seems to work ok. Except for the propellers. Viewed from outside I see four solid disks instead of the rotating propeller blades. I have attached a screenshot to show you what it looks like. Any ideas if this is fixable? Thanks.Gianluca

This problem was discussed recently, and can be quite easy to fix. It is not necessarily a sure thing but you can often succeed in locating suitable replacement textures from among your other prop aircraft. You'll find a recent discussion of this subject here, although if you use the search function you will probably find even more.
