I have tried to use the default 747-400 for the first time. With an aircraft that I have not flown before I usually go through an engine startup and shutdown sequence. The engines start ok using the individual engine start switches but the only way that I could find to shut them down is to close the fuel valves. When I do this the engines continue to run in a rather rhyamic pattern. Does anyone have any tips on how to overcome this. Am I missing something?
