June 7, 200917 yr Hi,Is there anyway to change the round ridiculous looking lights in FSX?. Are there bmp files or something that can be replaced?. I've already replaced the lights on the Level-D 767 by replacing the fx_2.bmp. Are the VASI / Taxi lights still produced by the halo.bmp file?I'm not looking to change their size via the FSX.cfg file, I want to replace them if possible.RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=0.4 //scales edge,center,end,touchdown,runwaysRUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=0.4 //scales VASI lights)RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=0.4 //scales approach light barsRUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=0.4 //scales RAILs and ODALs)Thanks Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck

June 7, 200917 yr X Graphix from the Active Sky folks does exactly what you are looking for, and a lot more.It looks like payware though... he said he didn't want to pay for REX (and X Graphix) just for the lights...?
June 7, 200917 yr If you would like stunning light visuals, even with REX, try looking up "Airport Light Environment". It was here on the AVSIM Library but since that's down you should be able fo find it on Flightsim.com and similar. I'm really glad I downloaded it. I might upload some pictures later. June 7, 200916 yr Author Hi,I just wanted to say thanks, I came up with a solution to my light dislikes. I've replaced the FX_2.bmp and the halo.bmp. Ended up with a nice mix.
