June 12, 200916 yr While we're waiting for some new screenies, I was wondering if there's a chance you'll be including an electronic "See Gee" calculator, or if you're going to stick with the current load manager format?Having to spin the wheel and use summer/winter weights correctly would add a nice touch of realism.Regards,Nick
June 15, 200916 yr I see replies from the devs in the "Pseudo Ferd" thread... Any chance of a reply to a real question? :(
June 15, 200916 yr I was thinking the same thing....with regards to the lack of comment(s)for pertinent question. I am not liking the way that flight sim is going...that's for sure. Chad Dillon aka: Dusty (PAEN)
June 15, 200916 yr For those of us that have no idea what you're talking about, what exactly is an electronic "See Gee" calculator?
June 15, 200916 yr Commercial Member Sorry, no plans for a "see gee calculator" :(. The load manager, however, will be different from anything PMDG has previously created. Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com

Is the weird blinky smiley because you're not sure what I'm talking about, or because I was busting your chops for an answer? Mike, The "See Gee" calculator is a tool used by many regional jets and turboprops, and is used to calculate CG location, CG envelope, Takeoff Weight, and a few other useful (critical) numbers. We used it exclusively on the J41, CRJ-200, CRJ-700 and 328JETs.It is basically a 8" square peice of plastic that has two clear plastic "spinny things" that you rotate around various indices, much like you would an E6B. Go here for a look at what the background looks like:http://seegeesolutions.com/SeeGee600.pngRegards,Nick

Thanks for the info Nick.
