Hello,I am desperately trying to install FSX. When I put the disc in, messages on the install screen shows messages like IDS_CONTINSTALL. When it does install, I try to start it up and it CTD's on the splash screen. I now have tried to manually uninstall it by deleting the folder and the registry keys. Oh yes, definitely. Reboot is one of the first things I did.The Jonas Brothers go along with the Britney Spears and Soulja Boy, so, I get triple happiness.

I've heard of others with this issue, and as far as I can remember, a complete reinstall of Vista worked.

That was what I was thinking. I just used the Windows Install Cleaner To remove the FSX keys, I will try to reinstall now.

I actually did destroy my original FSX discs by taking some wire cutters to them. Felt very liberating at the time, but was ultimately a waste of money. Just had to go and buy the darned things again. I'd advise against it.
