Can't see add on liveries anymore. please help.

Featured Replies

Hello all. Last week I installed fs9 and the PMDG MD11 on my new system. I also added some add on liveries and everything worked fine. Yesterday I installed the 747 and this is when eveything went wrong. When I tried to change aircrafts, my simulator would crash. I then uninstalled the 747. Now fs9 would not load the add on liveries on the md11. The texture folders are correct and the CFG file are correct. Fs9 would only show the Default PMDG MD11. Im running windows vista PremiumThank YouJairo Almonte

I believe you need to install the 747 first then the MD-11.As for the liverys uninstall them through control panel and reinstall.

Nathan, installation order for MD11/747 should not make a difference. The nanny-UAC in Vista might be a factor, but not knowing if the installs are running with admin rights I cannot guess.Try to repair the MD11 install, including the C++ addons (if you have Vista 64b it needs both 32b and 64b libraries). Try removing a livery from the control panel and then do another install of it and see if it appears. If that works, do same with others.I have installed 747 both before and after MD11... I've had odd things happen but not this specific case. I recommend not installing liveries for either aircraft until both aircraft are installed and verified running okay. Also, note that if you have installed liveries and uninstall the aircraft the only way to get the liveries working again is to uninstall them from the control panel.Hope this helps.

OK Folks thanks for the quick response. I will try these when I get home from work today. Thanks Jairo
