Wireless Router

Featured Replies

I have a D Link D1524 Wireless router hard cabled to my computer and wireless connected to my wife's laptop.Almost every morning, the laptop cannot access the net. Solution is to momentarily unplug/replug the router from the 110v power supply. Then rest of the day everything is AOK- despite frequent shutdowns/bootups on the laptop.I've now taken to routinely unplugging the router momentarily at night after I've shut down my FS 'puter. This works fine- unless I forget to do it- then I get a hostile shout from the kitchen next AM!Any easy solutions? You are supposed to be able to mix wired and wireless in one network. However, I have never been able to get that to work properly, most notably, if there are different OS's involved. All the computers in my house now hook-up wirelessly, and no more problems.Bob

i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.
