While AVSIM is considering this may I make the following points?

I don't object to your decision to remove the link from my first post. But Microsoft put the questionaire on a freely accessible site so surely the cat is well and truly out of the bag now. I imagine that just about everyone with a serious interest in Flight Simulator is aware of the survey and has read its details. I've no doubt many of them have submitted it as well, so it's well and truly skewed by now.The purported obligation in the NDA not to disclose the existence of the survey doesn't apply. The NDA cannot apply to the NDA because the NDA is only applicable once it's been accepted. Anyone who doesn't accept it is free to disclose the existence of the survey. Again, this cat is also out of the bag. It is already being openly discussed in other forums, so its details are out of the bag.

Maybe AVSIM should discuss the matter with Microsoft, who might accept it has blown this exercise and remove the restrictions.

Your points are totally valid, and I completely agree with you, except for one point:You could have at least waited a day or two for us to sort this out!! I've been in contact with Microsoft, I explained what happened at AVSIM and we are all in agreement. It would have been a lot nicer if you could have waited until we could make everything all nice and official. So, I will once again lock this topic. We will open up a new thread that should officially endorse this survey from Microsoft as soon as we get the green light. I thank you for your patience in this matter.
