If you're able to take screenshots with lower scenery detail settings then that is likely the cause. I saw this happen briefly after upgrading to a 1GB video card. Even with 4GB of memory I didn't have quite enough to get shots at high screen resolutions. Lowering my userva setting to 2400 fixed it.An alternative of course is to use Fraps to take screenshots, rather than FSX's built in mechanism.Hope that helps.-Mike Mike Johnson - Lotus Simulations
June 22, 200916 yr Are you using the V-key? Or the print-screen key? The last one won't do you any good: it can only save ONE picture in memory and you have to go to something like Paint to paste it and save it... The V-key will let you take as many shots as you want and saves them in the FSX pictures folder (in the Main pictures folder). If you are already using the V-key... you might try something like FSScreen or another screencapture utility.

Your RAM is being taxed... lower your settings. Tim FuchsManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com
