Avoiding all the usual questions

Featured Replies

It seems inevitable that every so often we get the same questions about PMDG product capabilities. Will the 737NGX have HUD, will it have a 2D cockpit and so on. Most of them are from new posters but some are from some who just simply forget what is what and that annoys everyone else who has to point out the obvious. I know that we can refer people to the pinned notices but how about this for an alternative?A spreadsheet notice or a PDF (which probably be better) pinned to the top which has all the PMDG products including the ones in the pipeline such as the DASH 8 and the J41 down the left hand side. Across the top you have the features ( eg - HUD, Wing Views, in BETA? 2D cockpit, pinned announcement, for FSX or FS9 etc etc - I am sure that most of you can add many more). Then we just add ticks or crosses so that people can see at a glance what product has what and update as necessary.Performance should not be included because any one can find that out for themselves (eg - number of engines, maker, model and so on). What do you think? It won't stop every obvious question but might save poor Dan some work!I would upload am example file but it won't let me add a spreadsheet but I am sure that you know what I am getting at.Anyone willing to have a go?Gerry
