May 27, 200323 yr ...orld.I thought I just had to download and it would auto install.I try to unzip it and I get a file read error. This is the second time I've downloaded clouds from FSW and had this problem. So, 38MB and 2+ hours later and I'm no farther ahead.Anyone have any ideas as to how I can get this working? *:-* I have the sinking feeling I've got yet another corrupted download.:-violin Thanks, Adam

May 27, 200323 yr Author Hi Chris,The installation problems could also be caused by not removing all the files that are in your readme. You should post them here on the forum. After removing the 5 files from my system, the installation went smooth as silk. However, I have one issue with FSSky World and that is the VSky.:( I did select the dis-able VSky in the drop down box, but will that take the sky change away for good? VSky working with either FSMeteo or ActiveSky buts that blue haze over the land texutres.Hope you can clear this point up.Thanks Again for a nice piece of work. :-)Bob JohnsonKDEN
May 27, 200323 yr Commercial Member Bo, " I did select the dis-able VSky in the drop down box, but will that take the sky change away for good?"Yes you will see always the fs2002 sky, restart your sim, only do not press anymore the V-sky button.ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFs Kind RegardsChris Willis
May 27, 200323 yr Well Chris, I managed to get it working. I haven't played with it much, but I must say that the thunderstorm textures are wonderful. Also the cumulus look so much better than the default and I'm seeing no decrease in performance with the cloud density at 65%. I haven't experimented with any of the high level clouds yet. It will take some playing around to get things working properly with ActiveSky wxRE. I need to do some reading for configuration etc.Anyway, thanks for the fantastic program. It really dramatically improves FS. :-beerchug Adam
May 27, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi, Adam, there will be an alternative clouds pack that's contains all clouds from SE version with better frame rate. All new clouds implemented in the SE version will have better frame rate than the original fs2002 default clouds, but they are not released yet.Ps: Clouds from fs sky world se, have the same frame rate like the default fs2002 one are the 21 first clouds set + high level clouds ,cirrus, overcast, You can set them to 100% slider if you want,(your frame will decrease like the default fs2002 clouds set) -The others cloudsset them to 65%.ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFs Kind RegardsChris Willis
