July 5, 200916 yr i have a problem which i am not sure which: my joystick; my configuration or my computer.i am using logitech attach 3 for fs9 and for some reason, i could not turn left or right with any plane. but in slew mode, i can slew it left or right. when i am on air, i can turn the plane towards the left or right. it's only when i am on the ground that i cannot turn. so this doesn't seem to be the joystick problem. but i also tried flying with google earth simulator and i get the same problem. i cannot turn the plane on the ground, which means that it could be a joystick problem. i have tried calibrating the joystick, i have tried deleting the fs9.cfg file but nothing works. i would like to try all options before reinstalling fs.anybody who can share some thoughts on what the problem could be?thanks in advance.
July 5, 200916 yr does your joystick support rudder (usually by twisting the handle)?sounds like you are trying to "turn" the plane by using the joystick, instead of the rudder... :(-feng
July 5, 200916 yr I think your problem has a simple solution. If I am correct, you have no rudder axis on your stick. If this is the case, you'll have to enable AUTORUDDER in the "aircraft realism" settings under the "aircraft" tab. If you DO have a rudder axis (if your joystick twist left and right) you will have to map the rudder to the joysticks rudder axis. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
July 5, 200916 yr ok here's the solution....no.1...the joystick your using doesnt have a rudder feature. and in fs...that feature is used to turn the plane on ground. anyway...the solution is....open fs...go to the settings tab... and search for a command called "Autorudder".....check the box....restart fs and problem solved :( happy flying~AniL RekhraJ~
