July 15, 200916 yr I couldn't find the right forum to post this so I'm posting this thread here.Since I downloaded Jets (any kind) I can't manually tune the NAV radios. It goes from 110 to 111.99 which isnt a lot of help if I want to tune to VOR's that have frequency like : 133.5.This problem isn't only in jets but I can't tune in any aircraft.I don't know what to do but with out that I cannot fly IFR.PLS help me.

July 16, 200916 yr You do know the difference between a nav frequency and a com frequency? The navs are usually 100-110 range and the coms are usually 120-130ish, and you can't tune a nav freq in a com radio and vice versa.....
July 17, 200916 yr The NAV radios don't tune to NDBs. Use the ADF tuner for NDBs. If the aircraft panel doesn't have an ADF tuner you probably won't be able to use NDBs, however you might be able to track to the NDB's location using a GPS.If your chart is showing a frequency higher than 117.95 Mhz the navigational aid may not be a VOR or localizer. Check the type carefully. in a further reponse to this thread please indicate which aid to navigation has such a high frequency.
