July 16, 200916 yr Hi,All of a sudden, the frequency that FSX suggests I fix the drift of my direction indicator and altimeter has increased beyond realistic values. It seems like I have to fix it every three minutes or so. Does anyone know how to decrease this time interval? It seems I remember being asked about this parameter in some installation program, but I have no idea what package that was. Thanks, Tom Perry
July 16, 200916 yr I don't recall any way to change it. I just disable it because I find gyroscopic precession to be over exaggerated in FS | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

July 18, 200916 yr Author That controls the gyroscopic precession of the aircraft due to the spinning propeller. In my case, the most annoying gauge is the altitude gauge, which needs to be adjusted when there are pressure changes.I think I'll just turn flying tips off.Ahh, you know what the difference is? I've been flying with real weather all the time now. Yes, I think turning off flying tips will help. Tom Perry
